Camp Spirit Quest 

Spend a week of breadth and depth this summer at Camp Spirit Quest!  Children will journey on a quest to explore how they might experience the “still small voice within” through various spiritual practices.  Art, storytelling, drama, nature exploration, dance, music, mandalas, as well as other hands-on avenues to the holy will compose this week of fun, play, and learning.  Children from area NoVA churches are welcome to attend.  Early registration will be available to children of members and friends at Bull Run and Accotink UU Churches.

Things to Know:

• Times - 9am to 3pm daily - August 3 to 7, 2015
  
• Who - 5 to 14 years old as Campers and High School/College Aged Students as Counselors-in-Training
• Where - On the beautiful acreage of Accotink Unitarian Universalist Church abutting Burke Lake Park
• Fees* - $150 for 1st child; $120 for each additional child; $120 for each Camp Volunteer's child
• What is Provided - Five days of safe and fun instruction and activities; a t-shirt; a tote bag; a journal; pencils; and two healthy snacks each day.  Our week will conclude with a Friday night pizza party for children and parents.
• Registration - Registration will open to AUUC and BRUU members and friends starting April 1, 2015. General registration will open April 15, 2015.  During the month of April, priority registration is given to families in which one adult can volunteer for the whole week, followed by other families registered for the RE programs at AUUC and BRUU, followed by all other registrants.  A $75 deposit is needed to hold a registration spot.  Starting May 1, priority registration ends and registration forms are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
